It’s NPFL Matchday 36 on Sunday across 9 Centers in the League, with Enyimba and Wikki Tourist match Live on TV.
Akwa Utd and Lobi Stars played out their match on Friday, which ended 2-1 in favour of Akwa United. The win was another step for Akwa United towards sealing a continental place.
Enyimba hosts Wikki in Calabar on Sunday and they know victory will make them go equal on points with Akwa Utd as they press for a continental slot also. Enyimba go into Matchday 36 seeking to extend an unbeaten run of 70 matches at home since a 1-0 loss to Abia Warriors in March 2014.
The Peoples Elephant lost 2-1 to Rivers utd on Match Day 35, while Wikki got a win at home to already relegated Remo Stars.
Victory last weekend for Wikki Tourists over Remo Stars saw them climb out of the relegation zone, but only just as their terrible away results have been a cause for concern.
With no wins yet since June last year, things need to change if they must stay in the NPFL.

- Since 2012, Enyimba has never lost or drawn a match at home to Wikki in the NPFL.
- Wikki has lost all their last 4 away NPFL Matches, and it could
be 5 if they lose in Calabar come Sunday.
- Wikki have not won an away match in 27 attempts, a run that stretches back to last season.
