Etebo joins Las Palmas on loan

Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has left CD Feirence of Portugal and joined Spanish LA Liga side UD Las Palmas on loan till the end of the season, with an option of a permanent deal.

Etebo who left Warri Wolves for the Portuguese side has been touted to be on his way to Portuguese Super League giants FC Porto in December 2017 and was also a target for Belgian Jupiler side Genk.

The Spanish side confirmed his capture on their twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon.
Las Palmas tweeted: “OFFICIAL | Las Palmas sign Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo from Feirense on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy “, the tweets stated.

The workaholic midfielder who netted four goals in 18 games for Feirence burst into limelight during RIO 2016 Olympic where helped Nigeria’s Dream Team VI to a bronze medal.
