Etebo resumes training at Las Palmas

Etebo in action for Las Palmas

After missing  two matches against Deportivo La Coruna and Real Madrid in quick succession due to injury, Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has returned to full training at Las Palmas.

The former Warri Wolves player failed a late fitness test last week when the team prepared to face Real Madrid, a game they eventually lost 3-0.

The power playing midfielder who got injured last month against Villarreal resumed training on Tuesday as the team prepare for the weekend’s clash against Levante.

The same injury also prevented Etebo from taking part in the recent Super Eagles friendlies against Poland and Serbia despite reporting for the later game.

His resumption will surely boost the team as the relegation dogfight continues.

The team is among the four teams at the wrong end of the table with seven games to go.
