Euro Watch: Aminu Umar scores, Ndidi assists, Ambrose continues stellar performance

Striker Aminu Umar scored his second goal of the league campaign for Osmanlispor FK in the 89th minute, as they forced giants Fernerbache to a 1-1 draw.

His Nigerian teammate Raheem Lawal was subbed off in the 86th minute.

Midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was subbed off in the 41st minute of the first half in Trabzonspor’s 0-0 draw away to Kayserispor.

His Nigerian midfield teammate Rilwan Hassan, is still nursing an injury that has kept him out for a while now.

Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi carved out an assist for Algerian winger Rihad Mahrez in the 60th as Leicester city were forced to a 2-2 draw at Stoke.

Striker Kelechi Iheanacho who came in as a 58th minute substitute had a goal disallowed for offside late on.
Winger Ahmed Musa is still frozen out at the team, as he continues to be out of the match day squad.

English born Nigerian winger Jordan Ibe, was subbed off in 72nd minute in Bournemouth’s late win over Newcastle away from home.

Tammy Abraham who has been invited to the English national team, played the entire
90 minutes for Swansea City who lost 0-1 at home to Brighton.

Italian born Nigerian defender Angelo Ogbonna was in the West Ham side that
were decimated 1-4 by Liverpool.

Dominic Solanke another English born Nigerian striker, came in at the 87th
minute for Liverpool.

Abdul Ajagun was subbed off in the 61st minute for Kortrijk, who then collapsed immediately by conceding two goals in the space of four minutes just two minutes after he went off. They lost 0-2 to KV Mechelen.

On loan Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi, was on for the whole 90 minutes for
Royal Excel Mouscron who lost 0-2 to Waasland-Beveren.

Newly invited Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, was for the second
straight game not listed for Deportivo Lacoruna in a game they lost 0-1 to
Athletico Madrid.

Defender Efe Ambrose who is eyeing a return to the Super Eagles, was on for
the entire duration of Hibs 2-1 win against visiting Dundee FC.

Orji Okonkwo was an unused substitute in Bologna’s 2-3 loss at home to Crotone, who sent on Simmy Nwankwo in the 90th minute of the encounter.

Defender Leon Balogun was on the bench for the entire duration of Mainz 05 1-1 draw away to Borussia Moenchengladbach.

There was no place for suspended left back Chidozie Awaziem in Nantes 2-1 win over Toulouse.
