Euro Watch: Igboun scores in Ufa defeat

Striker Sylvester Igboun 10th minute goal for FC Ufa turned out to be a consolation as Spartak Moscow rallied to claim a 3-1 win.

Igboun was yellow carded in the 52nd minute, and his Nigerian team-mate Fatai Kahinde came on as a late 90th minute substitute.

Forward Aaron Samuel was not called upon from the bench as 10-men CSKA Moscow held on to a 2-2 draw away to Lokomotiv Moscow


Izunna Uzochukwu was booked in the 35th minute and then subbed off in the 74th minute as his side OB FC suffered 0-3 spanking at home to SoenderjyskE


Emmanuel Eminike was not listed in Olympiacos 5-1 victory over Platanias.
The former Super Eagles striker is nursing an injury.


Oghenekaro Etebo deployment in Feirense’s attack failed to yield the desired result as they lost 0-1 to  Maritimo at home.
Etebo was on for 90 minutes.


Striker Kayode Olanrewaju was on the bench for the whole 90 minutes as Girona continued their impressive winning run from last week’s triumph against Real Madrid, beating Levante by 2-1 away from home.


Attacking midfielder Joel Obi started for Torino who clogged title chasing  Inter Milan to a 1-1 draw at the San Siro. Joel was cautioned in the 64th minute before getting replaced nine minutes later.

There was no place for on loan Roma striker Sadiq Umar in the Torino squad.


Alhassan Ibrahim endured another subdued outing as Austria Wien lost 1-3 at home to Mattersburg. Wien are experiencing a very difficult run of results.


Strikers Henry Onyekuru and Dennis Bonaventure both failed to score for Anderlecht and Club Brugge respectively, as both clubs played out a 0-0 draw.

Both players came in as second half substitutes, onyekuru in the 71st minute and Bonaventure two minutes later.


Alex Iwobi started for Arsenal despite the gunners 3-1 loss to Manchester City in controversial circumstances.

Iwobi was subbed off in the 78th minute of the encounter.

Injured Wing back Victor Moses watched keenly from the bench as Chelsea recovered from a disastrous loss against Roma in Europe to claim a moral boosting 1-0 win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.


Right back Tyrone Ebuehi was on for 90 minutes in ADO Den Haag’s  2-2 draw against Feyenoord.


No place for former golden Eaglets star Victor Osimhen in Wolfsburg squad that drew 3-3 at home to Hertha Berlin.
