Euro Watch: Tammy Abraham scores, Moses Stars as Balogun gets bench role


Chelsea wing back Victor Moses put out a solid display in Chelsea’s 4-0 win away to Stoke city to show he is not ready to give up his spot in the starting position to new boy Zappacosta.

A hatrick from Morata and another goal from the other Spanish counterpart Pedro saw Chelsea dispatch boogie team Stoke with Moses lasting 90’minutes in the match.

Still in England, Nigerian born English striker Tammy Abraham put aside speculations surrounding his international future with Nigeria and England to score for Swansea in their 1-2 loss to Watford at home.

Super Eagles striker Isaac Success was listed on the bench for Watford from
where he watched the whole of the proceedings.

Over to Russia where Aaron Samuel was an unused substitute for CSKA Moscow
who drew 0-0 away to Dinamo Moscow in the Moscow derby.

Nigerian central defender Leon Balogun was an unused substitute for Mainz 05 in their 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin in the German Bundesliga.

Still in Germany, Victor Osimhen was not listed for Wolfsburg who came from
two goals down to draw 2-2 away to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in
Friday night game.

Osimhen has been used as a late substitute once this season as the youngstar continues to seek for a chance which has been made difficult by the signing of Divok Origi on loan from Liverpool.

Former Nigerian junior international Abduljeleel Ajagun lasted the entire
duration of Kortrijk 0-3 loss away to Royal Antwerp in the Belgian league
on Friday.
