European Football Weekend: Chelsea host United; Arsenal travel to the Etihad; Bayern and Dortmund face off

Sky Sports have always used the term Super Sunday a little too loose in truth, even games like Swansea v Leicester and Crystal Palace v Stoke have inexplicably fallen into that bracket.

But this Sunday, that tag seems super appropriate, as features a lineup of Manchester City, log leaders in the Premier League and free-scoring, playing host to Arsenal.

Following that up is Jose Mourinho taking his Manchester United team to his former charges Chelsea, as United look to keep pace with the top of the league, and increase the pressure on Blues boss Antonio Conte. Mourinho might just smirking at the thought of the latter.

In the Bundesliga, there’s a Saturday evening Der Klassiker, as Borussia Dortmund welcome Bayern Munich to the Signal Iduna Park, as Die Schwarzgelben aim to regain top spot from the Bavarians.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid hope to get back on track after a couple of disturbing results, as they welcome Las Palmas to the Bernabeu, AC Milan also seek redemption ahead of their away game at Sassuolo, while Paris Saint-Germain travel to face Angers.

Struggling Everton host Watford on Saturday, Barcelona have one eye on their unbeaten La Liga record this season as they welcome Sevilla to the Nou Camp, Inter and Torino lock horns at the San Siro, and there are a few rivalry meetings as well, the Derby du Rhone in France featuring bitter rivals St. Etienne and Olympique Lyon, and the Genova Derby between stadium buddies Genoa and Sampdoria.
