Everton Sack Koeman after poor start to season

Ronald Koeman has been dismissed from his role as Everton manager after their 5-2 loss at home to Arsenal.

That Sunday loss was Everton’s fifth of the league season, the start of which the club had high hopes after spending 145 million pounds in the transfer market.

Everton found Koeman’s position untenable after their hammering against Arsenal saw them slip into the relegation zone.

Dutchman Koeman was appointed Everton gaffer last year, after seventh and sixth place finishes with previous club Southampton.

Koeman has also managed Feyenoord and Spanish club Valencia, alongside PSV Eindhoven.
