Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa is set to return from injury before Nigeria international friendly games against Poland and Serbia next month in Europe.
Ezenwa got injured during the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco against Sudan in the semi-final game after he collided with teammate Stephen Eze.
The Enyimba International goalkeeper has been out of action for 27 days but he has been training with his personal trainer and doctors.
“I will soon be back, I am almost close to full fitness. I have been working hard with my personal trainer and doctors. I will be fit before the international games in Europe next month,” Ezenwa said to Naijafootballplus.com.
Ezenwa joined the People’s Elephant from FC Ifeanyi Ubah during the off season transfer window.
He added: “I will resume fully with Enyimba this weekend, I am looking forward to my debut with the team in the NPFL and also to play on the continent. With the doctors reports I will be back in few days to full fitness.
