One of Enyimba FC of Aba Ghanaian import, Farouk Mohammed, has expressed his delight at his return to full fitness after a five month injury layoff.
Speaking ahead of the new season, the defensive midfielder revealed his readiness to help his team fight for honours this season.
“I am very glad to be back to the team again to help my team fight for honours in this year NPFL season.
“I also want to use this medium to thank my fans, friends and club management for their support.” he said
A leg injury kept the impressive defensive midfielder out of the team as Enyimba FC gunned for glory on all fronts finishing fifth in the league and getting knocked out in the round of 16 and semi finals stages of the Aiteo Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup respectively.
Enyimba FC will start the season with their first game against Mountain of Fire and Miracles [MFM] FC in Aba on Sunday.
