Morocco U20 women national team will arrive Nigeria today (Wednesday) ahead of Saturday’s FIFA U20 World Cup second round second-leg qualifier against Nigeria U20 women’s team.
The team contingent are expected to land in Lagos this afternoon from Casablanca and will depart Lagos to Benin, venue of the game hours later via domestic flight from Lagos.
First leg of the encounter with Nigeria ended 1-1 in Morocco a fortnight ago, the winner of this round will qualify for the final round of the African qualification series to face either South Africa or Burundi.
Meanwhile, CAF has appointed Aurore Christelle Ligan from Benin Republic as referee for Saturday’s encounter. She will be assisted by compatriots Tempa Justine Fouti Da (Assistant Referee 1), Sonia Louis (Assistant Referee 2) and Beatrice Gouchoedou (Fourth Official).
The match commissioner is Souadatou Djallo-Kalkaba from Cameroon while Ivorian Athacou Agathe will be the referee assessor.
Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin will play host to the game which is expected to kickoff at 4pm Nigeria time. Falconets thrashed Tanzania 3-0 in Benin in their last qualification match played in Benin.
