Nigeria’s Super Falconets on Saturday advanced to the final round of the 2018 FIFA women world cup qualifier.
After playing out a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Rabat, they thumped their Moroccan counterparts 5-1 at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin and ended the tie 6-2 aggregate.
The Team’s top scorer Rasheedat Ajibade and Reuben Charity got a brace each with Gift Monday being the other goalscorer.
Fatimat Tagnaout scored the consolatory goal for the Moroccans through a free kick.
The victory sets up the Falconets against South Africa and the winner in this encounter will qualify for the competition proper slated for France next year.
