FK Austria Wien have announced the signing of Super Eagles and Akwa United attacker Ibrahim Alhassan on Friday, Naijafootballplus.com report.
The 20-year-old former Flying Eagles player has agreed a loan deal until the end of the season with the 24-time Austrian league champions having an option to buy next summer.
Alhassan who made his international debut for Nigeria against Togo in June was instrumental as the Super Eagles B team sealed their qualification to the African Nations Championship last weekend in Kano. He was also part of the NPFL All-Star team to Spain for a LaLiga tour in 2016.
Alhassan who joins Austria Wien, a former club of countryman Kayode Olarenwanju witnessed his new club’s qualification into the group stage of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
