Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Francisca Ordega was on target in the National Womens Soccer League as action resumed after a mid-season break in the USA.
The former Rivers angels and Bayelsa Queens star scored the only goal for team Washington Spirits in the 42nd minute to put them into the lead against Chicago Reds on Saturday 17th June.
Ordega 24, controlled a long pass from Cheyna Williams then raced past her markers before slotting home for what will be her 3rd goal of the campaign.
However Ordega and her teammates Where denied all three points as Christen Press converted a late penalty after she was initially fouled to leave full-time scores at 1-1 .
Ordega was part of the Super Falcons team that won a record 8 AWCON trophy hosted by Cameroon last year.
