Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has revealed the vital role Trabzonspor midfielder Onazi Ogenyi played in his career as a footballer.
Ogu, a player with Israeli based side Hapoel Be’er Sheva took to Twitter in a series of emotional tweets where he disclosed how fellow Super Eagles midfielder Onazi bought him a flight ticket.
“Many Never knew Onazi Ogenyi bought me a ticket to Rome to stay with him until I get a club. I Appreciate you bro always .God bless you,” Ogu wrote on Twitter via his handle @ogujohnugo.
The former Academica of Portugal player has 12 caps for Nigeria went further to outline his ambition for the new season both for club and country.
He also recounted his blessings to God for all he has achieved ever since his move to Israel.
Ogu, was an unused substitute in Super Eagles’ 0-2 loss to South Africa in AFCON qualifier earlier this month.
He has won two Isreali Premier League titles [in 2016 and 2017], one Isreali Super Cup  and one Toto Cup .
