Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said he saddened by terror attacks in his beloved home city of Barcelona.
The Barcelona and Catalan legend has been terrified and shaken by the terrorist attack and sends his condolences to the victims and their families.
“Well obviously I’m affected by what happened,” said the Manchester City boss.
“Obviously Las Ramblas is an important place in the history of Barcelona. So my thoughts are for the families and victims of the tragedy.
“I’m sure the city and country will stand up and move on. I just wish it doesn’t happen again in Barcelona or in the whole world.
“It happened in France, in London and unfortunately it has happened in Barcelona. We don’t know, but Barcelona will wake up and show what a beautiful city it is.”
The Barcelona attack was carried out yesterday by a van that drove into crowds of pedestrians at Las Ramblas, leaving 13 people dead and many more injured.
