Nigerian international forward Brown Ideye scored his first goal for Chinese club Tianjin Teda in a 3-1 win over Yanbian Funde.

Ideye had previously fired blanks in 4 games for Tianjin since joining from Olympiakos earlier this year.

Ideye scored the 3rd goal for Tianjin Teda in the 72nd minute of the game and was taken off five minutes later.
Meanwhile Mikel missed the match due to an injury that also kept him out of their last match.

Coach of Tianjin Teda, Jaime Pacheco explained Mikel’s absence in a press conference before the match.

”On the Mikel problem I have to tell the truth, his injury situation is more complex, Saturday’s game he can not meet the requirements,” manager Pacheco said at Friday’s press conference.

John Mikel Obi doubles as captain of the Nigerian Super Eagles and his club side Tianjin Teda.
