Former Super Eagles midfielder Nosa Igiebor, has joined lists of Nigerian players who ply their trade in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.
Igiebor left the Turkish Super League side Rizespor to pitch his tents with Vancouver Whitecaps.
Igiebor was signed for the remainder of 2017 season with the option of extending for the 2018 and 2019 season
“Nosa is a box-to- box midfielder who brings a lot of experience having played in some of the top leagues in the world”, the club Director, Caleb Wilikins told the club website.
“I would consider the Israeli and Turkish league as top leagues and at his age and for the commitment the Caps have made to him, this seems like a good deal”, he stated.
Igiebor has made 300 professional appearances, including 28 in the La Liga, 21 in the Europa League, and 4 in the Champions League.
In addition to his club experience,
Igiebor has made 15 appearances with the Nigerian National team.
