Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho might have been a surplus requirement to Manchester City, but the Pep Guardiola tutored side still has a place in his heart.
The former City sensation who won the EFL cup under Manuel Pellegrini in 2016, took to his twitter page to congratulate his former teammates on winning the 2018 Carrabao Cup on Sunday.
Manchester City strolled to a 3-0 victory over Arsenal at Wembley and gave Guardiola his first major title after almost two full seasons in charge of the Citizens.
City proved too much to handle for Arsenal as Sergio Aguero bagged his first major goal in a cup final before captain Vincent Kompany added the second and David Silva put the icing on the cake.

With the EFL cup in the bag, City are still hopeful of winning a treble as they are looking like the premier League champions in waiting and they are also favourites to win the Champions League.
Fans favourite Iheanacho was sold to Leicester City at the start of the 2017/18 campaign for a fee of £25 million after falling out of favour on the pecking order of new boss Pep Guardiola.
Kelechi Iheanacho made 46 appearances for Manchester City, most of them (34) came as substitutes and he scored 12 goals with just 19 shots.
