It was a sweet victory for Leicester City on Saturday on match day 6 of the English Premier League as they thrashed visiting Huddersfield Town 3-1.
Nigeria Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi played active roles in the game as Iheanacho leveled the scores in the 19th minute after Mathias Jorgensen put the Terrier in front in the 5th minute.
Newly acquired James Madison, put the Foxes ahead in the 66th minute before Iheanacho assisted Jamie Vardy in adding the third goal later in the game.
Midfielder Ndidi, nullified all the efforts of Australian international, Aaron Mooy who threatened Leicester’s backline throughout the game.
The Former City striker has now netted 2 goals in 7 appearances for the club.
The victory over Huddersfield is a huge relief for Leicester’s gaffer, Claude Puel, after they suffered a 4-2 defeat against Bournemouth last weekend.
