MFM FC head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has described Sunday’s league win at Remo Stars as a step closer for his side to “do the impossible”.
Austin Ogunye scored the only goal for MFM against Remo Stars on Sunday to to hand the visitors all three points. The victory was their second away win of the season.
Ilechukwu hailed his boys for the wonderful performance that ensured the much needed victory against a stubborn Fatai Osho tutored side as he spoke with naijafootballplus.com
“This is a result of hardwork, commitment, dedication, determination and perseverance from the boys in their quest to win the league title for the first time in club’s history. I think we are a step closer to do the impossible. Let’s continue to strive hard for it and possibly we would achieve it.
“We won’t get carried away just because of this sweet victory but we would fight till the end. There are few matches to the end of the season and we will play every match with utmost seriousness and determination.
Ilechukwu also thanked fans of MFM for their unflinching support all season long. He even went ahead to promise his side will keep giving their best in their remaining matches of the season.

MFM have 55 points from 32 games, they’re trailing league leaders Plateau United by three points with six matches left.
