India Super League side ATK has announced the capture of former Nigeria Super Eagles attacking midfielder Kalu Uche.
The forward player who spent a great part of his playing career in the Spanish league has penned a deal that will see him team up with former Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane who featured in a player/manager role for ATK towards the end of last season.
Aba-born Kalu Uche signed for the Delhi Dynamos in 2017 for a $129,999 fee and his stellar run of form in the recently-concluded 2017/18 season, surely influenced ATK to seek his services in a deal according to sportskeeda.com will see him become one of the highest paid players in the Indian Super League.
The skilful forward scored a remarkable 13 goals in 15 appearances for Delhi Dynamos last season but the club finished the campaign in 8th position.

ATK in the previous season, finished in 9th place in the 10-team league with just 4 wins and as many draws from 18 games and will hope that the Nigerian striker’s addition will improve their performance in the upcoming season.
The 35-year-old has plenty of experience, making 35 international appearances for Nigeria and having long stints at Polish football club Wisla Krakow (2001-2005) and Spanish La Liga side Almeria (2005-2011).
Kalu Uche last played for Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
