The Bavarians were wasteful and were made to pay for it when Nigerian young star Alex Iwobi punished them from a rare counter attack to level scores at 1-1.

Iwobi’s late goal ensured the tie was settled via penalties. Arsenal eventually edged the shoot out 3-2, Gunners goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez saved two penalties.

Alex Iwobi has been told by manager Arsene Wenger to add goals to his overall play to guaranty a spot in the Arsenal team and it appears he is doing just so.
