As the 2017/2018 English Premier League commence on friday, four Super Eagles players; Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa are expected to be in action for their respective sides as Arsenal host Leicester City at the Emirates.
Iwobi enjoyed a decent preseason for the Gunners including his outstanding performance in the Community Shield last Sunday. In the absence of Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, Iwobi is expected to feature for the gunners later tonight.
Wilfred Ndidi might also start for the Foxes after a wonderful display last season.
Newly acquired Kelechi Iheanacho will hopefully get the nod to show what he can really do after he joined the team from Manchester city last week.
Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa remain a big doubt for the clash after falling down the pecking order at Leicester City. Foxes boss, Craig Shakespeare has used Musa sparingly in pre-season and the Nigerian has been linked with a transfer to Turkey.
In other fixtures for matchday one of the Premier League, Victor Moses’ Chelsea host Burnley on Saturday while Isaac Success’ Watford welcome Liverpool to Vicarage Road same day.
