Joel Obi on target for Torino

Torino midfield dynamite Joel Chukwuma Obi, produced another fantastic performance for the Italian Serie A side, in a 3-0 demolition of Benevento Fc in one of the matches played on Sunday.

Iago Falque opened scoring in the 3rd minute followed by Mbaye Niang in the
40th minute.

Joel Obi got in on the act on the stroke of halftime, to take the game well beyond their subdued visitors who had the burden of 33rd minute red card to Vid Belec, to also contend with.

Joel Obi will most definitely walk into the Super Eagles team to the World Cup in June barring injuries, as he is doing enough to justify an expected call up to the Nigerian national team with 4 goals to his name this season.

Obi who is in his prime at 26 years, was subbed off in the 70th minute for Daniel Ansaldi.

He has played 14 games for Torino this season starting 11 of those games.
