Management of Kano Pillars FC have promoted its Coach, Ibrahim A. Musa as acting head coach of the club pending the appointment of a substantive Technical Adviser for the club.
According to a statement signed by the media officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa shortly after Kano Pillars’ Management emergency meeting, the management also approved the appointment of Junior Pillars FC head coach Usman Abdullah as acting chief coach and Friday Christopher as Assistant coach of the senior team.
The management then promoted the Chief Coach of Junior Kano Pillars FC Ahmad Garba Yaro Yaro as head coach of Junior Pillars FC with immediate effect.
Malikawa said the meeting was headed by the club’s chairman Alh. Tukur Babangida and urged them to put heads together to move the club forward.
The board said their appointments is part of moral booster for Pillars’ young coaches to attain greater heights.
The Sai Masu gida has placed four of its current players on transfer market and are in talks with some players as their replacements from ABS, Lobi, Elkanemi among others, Malikawa said.
He pointed out that the meeting resolved to warn some players to live up to expectation in their own interest while some would be placed on half salary due to non performance.
