Kayode happy to have made debut for Super Eagles


Austria Vienna forward Kayode Olanrewaju has expressed his gratitude having made his debut for the national team in the friendly match against Senegal.

Olarenwaju came on as a substitute in the 76th minute to mark his first appearance for the senior side in a 1-1 draw against Senegal last Thursday (23rd March).

“I want to use this opportunity to thank God Almighty for making it possible for me to be part of the Super Eagles team.., ” Kayode said

“Want to thank my teammates for their wonderful gestures towards me and thanks to my family and friends, also to my wonderful fans for there great support…will continue to do my best.”

Kayode who has represented Nigeria at the junior World cups, starting with the golden Eaglets (U-17 ) in Colombia 2011 and then for the flying Eagles (U-20 ) in Turkey 2003 has since returned to his club in Austria on Tuesday from the Eagles camp.
