Coach of Premier League champions Leceister city, Greg Shakespeare has spoke in glowing terms about Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
The midfielder who joined Leceister city from Gent in a £15 million move in January has since settled down seamlessly, which has impressed Shakespeare.
“Ndidi has a huge future in the game,” Shakespeare was quoted on Leicestermercury.co.uk
“He is looking the part. He is a young boy but he has settled in really well. I think he has a huge future in the game.
“There was a lot of interest in him from other clubs but he was high on the list of our recruitment team and, in the end, we did really well to get him.
“He will be a big player for us.
“I think he will be a big player for us. He is made-to-measure for this league but he is humble and his personality is suited to our football club. He is easy to manage.”
Wilfred Ndidi was named man of the match in Nigeria’s friendly against Senegal last week Thursday and has returned to Leceister city.
Ndidi is expected to resume training today Thursday as revitalised
