Mark Schwarzer a Former Leicester City goalkeeper has tagged Super Eagles
striker Ahmed Musa a Leicester City misfit following an underwhelming
campaign since signing from CSKA Moscow for a then record fee of £18m.
”Ahmed Musa and other players signed in the summer have not been good
enough. Musa particularly have not lived to expectations considering the amount the club paid for him”, he said.
Musa has played 21 games, making 7 starts and scoring 2 goals this season.
Stats the former Australian number one considers a woeful return considering the investment and expectations from the Nigerian star.
Mark Shwarzer was however impressed with another Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi,
who arrived in January from Belgian side Genk and adapted to the club
system with hardly any fuss.
“It’s only Wilfred Ndidi who has fitted into the first team. He has done well since coming into the team in January.
