Liverpool Football Club has loaned out former Nigeria Dream Team VI strike Taiwo Awoniyi to Belgian side Mouscron.
The former Imperial Academy player was on Wednesday unveiled by Mouscron as a loan signing for the 2017/2018 season.
Awoniyi will continue his development at the Belgian side having not secured a work permit to play in England.
The Reds have earlier nursed an idea of loaning him to English League sides but their inability to get him the all important work permit warranted them to seek alternatives for him.
Awoniyi spent last term with Dutch club NEC Nijmegen, having previously embarked on a loan stay at FSV Frankfurt in Germany.
Other Nigerians in the Belgian league include Henry Onyekuru, Moses Simon, Anderson Esiti, Samuel Kalu, Uche Agbo, Kingsley Madu, Joseph Akpala and Christian Osaguona.
