Liverpool table mouth watering deal for Salah

Mohamed Salah in action against Portugal

Egyptian and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is reportedly set to reject interest from Real Madrid and will be offered a new deal worth £200,000 a week to stay at Anfield.

The Egyptian has no interest in moving to La Liga and has told friends he wants to remain in the Premier League, according to John Richardson at the Sunday Mirror.

Mohamed Salah has enjoyed a sensational first season at Anfield and is the Premier League’s top goalscorer, with 28 goals. He also has nine assists to his name. His strikes have helped fire Liverpool into third place in the table and into the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The 25-year-old was on target for his country on Friday to take his tally to 16 goals in his past 14 games against a Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Portugal side.
Egypt coach Hector Cuper described the Liverpool forward as being one of the best players in the world.

His dazzling performances and goalscoring exploits have seen him linked with Real Madrid and other top teams in Europe. Egyptian FA President Hany Abo Rida recently said “Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer,” according to Sam McEvoy for MailOnline.

Meanwhile, Salah recently told ESPN Brasil he is happy at Liverpool and wants to win the Premier League with the club.

While Liverpool must be thrilled with Salah’s impact, they must also be wary of approaches from other top sides. Handing Mohamed Salah a new deal would deservedly reward him for an outstanding campaign and also help ward off interest from unwanted admirers.
