English Premier League side Liverpool has finally announced the capture of Nigerian-born Chelsea starlet Dominic Solanke.
The Merseyside giants made the announcement known through the club’s website liverpoolfc.com on Monday.
19-year-old Solanke was part of the junior Three Lions squad that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in June. He will wear jersey number 29 and is expected to quickly link up with the rest of the squad for preseason training.
According to the player: “It feels amazing and everyone has made me feel welcome already.
“Even just pulling on the training top, I was over the moon. Hopefully I can put on the shirt in the near future and make some good history here,” he stated.
