AS Racine utility player Michael Ndidi has disclosed to naijafootballplus.com that they are in Warri to cause an upset in their matchday 30 fixture of the Nigeria National League against Warri Wolves on wednesday.
Relegation threatened AS Racines will be up against Warri Wolves in one of the week 30 fixtures in the NNL southern conference at Warri City stadium and Michael Ndidi believes with good officiating, his team is capable of beating the seasiders at home.
“We are in Warri to get the three maximum points or at least a draw if there would be a good officiating. Warri Wolves aren’t invincible and we can start garnering points away from home if our hopes of maintaining our NNL status is to be kept alive.
“There are a lot of positive mindset in the team. We are leaving no stone unturned and I’m optimistic we will achieve our target to remain in the league. All our remaining matches will now be play as if our lives depended on it.
“We have tasked ourselves that we should scale through all the hurdles starting from Warri Wolves. Any point or points garnered away from home will be a plus for us and we shouldn’t slip up at home again. There are few matches to the end of the season and it’s not over yet. We will fight till the end”, Ndidi concluded.
AS Racines are currently 15th on the log of the NNL southern conference with 33 points after 29 games, three points adrift of their hosts, Warri wolves who are 14th.
