Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has revealed that his target is to lead Nigeria to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia next year.
Nigeria secured four points from possible six against African champions Cameroon in the double-header qualifying games.
Nigeria sit top of the group with 10 points, Zambia are second on the table with seven points after beating Algeria home and away.
The Tianjin Teda of China midfielder said after the game in Yaoundé that his target is to lead Nigeria to another World Cup.
“I have been there before and I want to be there as the team captain, to play the second time at the World Cup will be amazing.
