The failure of Hannover 96 FC striker, Noah Bazee to participate in a single training session with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the London camp of the team, will be considered a big opportunity missed by Coach Gernot Rohr to access MFM striker Stephen Odey.
Odey is currently the leading goal scorer in the NPFL with 12 goals and was
highly tipped to secure an invitation to the national team, especially when
it was clear Bazee was struggling with a knee injury.
Gernot Rohr decided to invite Bazee to cap him for Nigeria as he might be
lured away by Germany where he was born.
But players of the Super Eagles and
members of team staff were very impressed with the turn up of the young
star and his commitment to the cause of the team.
Bazee, 20 has been struggling with a knee injury for three weeks prior to
joining the super Eagles camp and thus missed the match against Senegal last Thursday.
