
After his superlative display for Chelsea against Newcastle on Saturday, Nigeria forward Victor Moses is said to be the best wing-back in the world by former England international Jamie Redknapp.
Moses who only just returned from a hamstring injury, shown like a million stars in the Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Newcastle with a performance that saw him grab two assists with his second being a penalty won in the second half.
Redknapp spoke about Moses’ impressive display on Sky Sports on Sunday.
Redknapp said: “He makes a huge difference. With the system they play with wing-backs, he’s
taught himself – and the manager’s obviously helped him – to be one of the best wing-backs in world football.
“It suits him that position, and there’s no surprise that he was involved with the penalty, he’s involved with the goal. I thought he was brilliant against Newcastle and he is top class.”
Victor Moses’s return comes at a crucial time for the blues who face a hectic run of fixtures beginning from Tuesday’s meeting with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
