Super Eagles winger Victor Moses made his much awaited return to the Chelsea first team in their 1-0 win over Swansea City on Wednesday night.
Moses came on as a 75th minute second half substitute for Zappacosta who has been deputizing in the Nigerian’s absence since his injury.
In a game Chelsea laboured to secure a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge, the sight of Moses was a relief to the home fans heading into a busy winter period as they seek to close the gap on leaders Manchester City.
A 55th minute header from defender Antonio Rudiger settled the encounter as Chelsea were frustrated in attack.
Up next will be Newcastle for the blues with Moses most likely to be named in the starting eleven in Saturday’s early kickoff.
