Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has dedicated the goal he scored for Nigeria against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to his wife who celebrates her birthday on Tuesday.
Simon scored for Nigeria in the first half against a much improved Cameroon side in a keenly contested encounter in Yaoundé.
Shortly, after the game the speedster took to his social media page saying: “thank you Glorious God for everything, we fight till the end. Team spirit. Happy to be on the sheet, and am dedicating the goal to my Queen princess Mide, best birthday gift I can offer to you, love to see you soon.”
The goal scored by the Gent of Belgium winger ensured Nigeria picked a point in a 1-1 draw against Cameroon in Yaoundé.
Nigeria are almost through to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, with the Super Eagles six points clear atop Group B.
