UCL: Moses to make First appearance at Barcelona’s Camp Nou

Chelsea visits Nou Camp on Wednesday for their second leg tie against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash, with Nigerian star Victor Moses and some other Chelsea players to make their debut at the famous Catalunya stomping ground.

Victor Moses will be making his first official appearance at the Nou Camp hoping to help Chelsea cause an upset against their much favoured Spanish counterparts who are favorites to go through after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s Antonio Conte recognizes the situation and is hopeful it serves as a motivation for his players to make a memorable impression.

”For sure this is a fantastic stadium with a big pitch. I think that every single player needs to play this type of game, must be excited to play this type of game,” Conte said while speaking in a press conference before the game.

”A lot of my players have never played in this stadium. This is the first time and we want to do our best.”

Victor Moses has previously played against  Spanish opposition in the champions League which was in the group stages of the current competition last year against Atlético Madrid at Estadio Metropolitano de Madrid, and was victorious in a 2-1 success.

Moses played the full 90 minutes in that encounter, which is on record Atletico Madrid’s first and only loss so far in their new stadium, and the Super Eagles star will be hoping for an even bigger scalp in Barcelona.
