New Niger Tornadoes coach, Hamza Abara has revealed that his silence on his impressive displays is aimed at getting the results that will speak for him.
The coach who was visibly happy with the 1-0 victory over visiting Rangers International FC in the matchday 16 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the weekend, expressed his understanding of the difficulty associated with staying a champion as is the case of the Flying Antelopes.
“I’m overwhelmed by both the result and my team’s performance.
“Being a champion and for you to remain a champion are two different things,” he said.
He further bragged that despite his age, he is focused on getting the right results that will improve his pedigree.
“I believe I’m the youngest coach in the NPFL and I want to keep working hard in silence and let my performance speak for me,” he boasted.
He also thanked the Tornadoes fans for their support so far.
“Thank you very much, Tornadoes fans.” He concluded.
Coach Hamza Abara replaced the departed Abubakar Bala who joined Kwara United to help rescue their seemingly shambolic season.
