Nigerian and Leceister midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, has distanced himself from comments made by a particular agent (Hakeem Bello) claiming he would dump Leceister city for Man Utd in the summer.
Ndidi who has displayed eye catchy performances since joining Leicester City in January took to twitter to distance himself from the agent and the rumours.
“Please be informed that this information is not true,” Ndidi tweeted on Thursday.
“I’m 200% with Leicester and I don’t know this person called Hakeem.”
Hakeem Bello is quoted to have said that talks could be on for the former Genk midfielder to move to Old Trafford in the summer.
“Ndidi won’t say no to Manchester United. I can proudly tell you that if a bid is launched, he will ask Leicester for a transfer.
“We are talking (about) Manchester United, the biggest and most successful (club). That’s no brainer. Ndidi won’t turn down Man United, anyone willing to bet,” Bello concluded.
If Wilfred Ndidi maintain his glittering form till the end of the season, Leceister city might have a battle on their hands to keep hold of the former
