Nigerian international midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was amongst the recipient
of honours in Monday night’s Leceister city season awards.
The former Genk midfielder was crowned the best young player at Leceister city following his outstanding performances despite joining the former
English champions in the middle of the season.
Ndidi 21′ managed to replace the pillar of Leceister city Ngolo Kante who left for Chelsea and eventually won the best player award in the EPL at Chelsea. This highlights the boots Ndidi managed to fill.
Goalkeeper Peter scheimichels won the Players’ Player and Player of the Season awards while Goal of the Season award went to Danny Drinkwater.
Wilfred Ndidi might yet become a subject of summer transfer as some top EPL
clubs are thought to be interested in his services.
