Ndidi unhappy with Southampton stalemate

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is unhappy over Leicester City’s failure to beat Southampton in a Premier League game at the King Power Stadium on Thursday.

The hard tackling midfielder returned to the Foxes line-up after serving a two match suspension due to his sending off twice this season.

Leicester who suffered back to back losses to Newcastle United and Burnley were looking to bounce back to winning ways but came up against a brick wall in relegation threatened Southampton.

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy both spurned good opportunities to seal all three points for the Foxes, as the points were shared.

Wilfred Ndidi reacting after the match on his instagram page and also encouraged the team to keep fighting.

“Disappointed not to have taken all 3 points at home but we keep going,” he wrote.

Ndidi has made 32 league appearances for the Foxes.
