Former Super Eagles striker Victor Obinna Nsofor has joined South Africa Premier League side Cape Town city on a one year deal.
The former Chievo Verona and Inter Milan striker left German Bundesliga 2 side SV Darmstadt during this summer on a mutual consent.
The PSL side announced his capture on Tuesday night and he will wear Jersey number 17.
Cape Town City will be Nsofor’s 8th club after he left Nigeria to sojourn abroad. Before he departed the country the forward has played for Enyimba, Plateau United and Kwara United.
Elated Nsofor said during his unveiling in a post on the club’s instagram account said: “It’s a pleasure for me to join this club,” he said. “I saw a club that has ambition too succeed. I’m here to contribute to the success of this team.”
Nsofor has represented Nigeria at various levels from Flying Eagles, Dream Team and Super Eagles.
He was part of Nigeria Dream team that won silver medal in 2008 at the Beijing Olympic games.
