Three time African champions Nigeria, will resume their quest for a fourth continental title when they take on Seychelles in Victoria for a place in the finals of the continental tournament slated to hold in Cameroon, June next year
The Super Eagles are yet to feature in the finals of the last two editions after winning the competition in 2013 in South Africa.
They will have to tackle Libya in a double header on October 10 and 13 at home and in Tripoli or wherever CAF okays for the Libyan FA before traveling to South Africa on November 16 for the supposed biggest fixture of the group.
Nigeria lost 2-0 in Uyo when the Bafana Bafana visited for the first match of the qualifying campaign, and the Super Eagles will be looking to extract their pound of flesh from the South Africans.
The last game for the qualifying round is scheduled to hold in Nigeria against Seychelles on 22nd March next year.
Confederation of African Football (CAF), will reveal the match venues and kickoff times when it is confirmed.
The AFCON qualifiers will be Nigeria’s first competitive game after their ouster from the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup and a chance for fans to see how the team has moved on from the disappointing outing.
