A Nigerian football player by name Henry Esin has been murdered in a nightclub at Welsh town of Bangor .
Esin, 27 who ply’s his trade with an Amatuer side, Llanfairpwell FC was found unconscious outside a Peep nightclub in Bangor by police on Saturday.
He was rushed to Stoke hospital for treatment at their special trauma unit where he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
Latest reports indicate that the Police have arrested a 26-year-old man from Bangor area and are requesting anyone with information to assist them in the investigations.
According to the statement released by the police DCI Kearney: “Police needs the support of the community and we urge everyone who witnessed this incident or its immediate aftermath to come forward – whether they consider they saw an incident or not we would like to speak to them,” he said.
However Llanfairpwell FC has announced they will hold a minute’s silence before their game against Cameas Bay on Wednesday, April 5.
