Nigeria born Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham claimed double award as he played his last game for the championship side Bristol City in their 0-1 loss against Birmingham city.
Abraham who netted 26 goals in 48 games for Bristol won the club Player of the year and young player of the year award.
After receiving his award, an excited Abraham said: “It’s been an amazing season for me and Bristol City will always hold a special place in my heart now.
“This club has given me my first chance to express myself and show what I can do. I don’t know what the future holds, so today, am saying goodbye to the fans. They’ve been brilliant to me; they’ve made me feel like family,” he said.
Abraham is expected to return to parent club Chelsea and hope for favour from Head coach, Antonio Conte who is expected to give the young striker a look in.
