Super Eagles and Hapoel Beer Sheva striker Anthony Nwakaeme is to be out of action due to a reoccurrence of an ankle injury.
The forward has been in remarkable form since the commencement of the season churning out distinctive displays in the colours of the club.
Since joining Beer Sheva from another Israeli club Hapoel Ra’anna in 2015, Nwakaeme has netted 25 goals in 67 appearances.
The player revealed the latest about his injury on his instagram page @tonynwakaeme on sunday morning.
“Will be out of action for couple of game due to my Ankle injury have been struggling with for the past 3 month, hoping to recover fully before the play off start, #Godisthegreatest # TN9.
Nwakaeme made his competitive debut for Nigeria’s Super Eagles against the Desert Foxes of Algeria in the last group game of the FIFA 2018 world cup qualification phase.
