Captain Abba Kamara  put up a commanding performance and inspired Zoo United to a 3-2 win over a hard fighting Ramcy FC in a frenetic group G2 week two NLO game at the Sanni Abacha Stadium, Kano.

It took the two Kano based clubs a quarter of an hour to settle into the game with Ramcy FC holding sway after a cagey start to the encounter.

Against the run of play, captain Abba Kamara fired Zoo United infront in the 37th minute with a forceful low drive shot from a loose ball.

The hosts doubled the advantage four minutes later from the penalty spot with Issa Suleiman stepping up to slot home after Amu Daniel was fouled in the box by Dahiru Beron.

Ramcy FC fought back and pulled one back before the break through Sadiq Ahmad with a superb header from a free kick which caught Zoo United’s goalkeeper off his line.

The second half wasn’t too different from the first 45 minutes; Ramcy FC were on the  front foot again but Zoo United showed enough discipline to keep them at bay.

Zoo United then restored their two goal lead midway through the second half with Issa Suleiman in the right place at the right time to bury Abba Kamara’s flick on from a throwing.

Ramcy FC wouldn’t give up still and they were awarded a penalty after Kabiru Aliu was hacked down in the box by Ghali Mohammed.

Muntari Adnan stepped up and converted perfectly to leave the scoreline at 3-2.
