In order to rescue their dwindling season, Nigeria National league side, Bayelsa United has appointed and unveiled Zakary Baraje as the club new technical advisers.
The Yenogoa based team on Wednesday relieved the team coach Richard Bubugha from his duties following series of untenable results in the league games.
Baraje who has managed established teams like Shooting stars, Plateau United etc in the elites division will be expected to bring in his wealth of experience and make sure the gain much needed promotion.
The first assignment of the gaffer will be the state FA cup final against St George Turnah on Sunday at Samson Siasia stadium in Yenogoa.
The team is presently placed 7th on the league table with 5 points from 5 matches.
